Up for sale is a 1960's Eastern European Cold War Anglepoise Industrial Task Lamp. This lamp was made by ESC Zukov who were a Czechoslovakian lighting company. 
 
This fantastic lamp would have been mounted on a lathe or some other metalworking machine.  The paint was almost gone when we acquired it so we took it back to bare metal, lightly polished it and then clear coated it to protect the finish.  The shade has a number of minor dents in it, but then it is around 60 years old !
 
A lamp as nice as this needed a really nice base, so we married it to a piece of 2 inch thick  solid mahogany. (No old bits of scaffold board here) The mahogany came from a 1920's boiler room and it previously had pressure gauges mounted on it !
 
This lamp has been fully rewired and pat tested.
 
This is a nice compact light that would look fantastic as an office lamp or table lamp.
