This is a fantastic versatile lamp than can either be used as a desk lamp or it can be wall mounted.
 
The starting piece for this lamp was a vintage 1950's Belling Handy Heater. Belling have been making high quality appliances for over 100 years and they are still in business today.
 
Now a little about the restoration !!
 
This lamp had a green beaten metal finish and the paint was flaking so we decided to give it a full restoration. The entire lamp was sandblasted and then all of the metal parts were polished to give it a nice brushed finish. We then clear coated all the metalwork to maintain the finish.
 
We fabricated a new bulb holder to replace the old heating element and it looks like it could have always been there.
 
We have re-wired the light with black vintage style braided cable and fitted an inline switch. The lamp has a generous 1.5mtr power cable.

The lamp comes with an Edison double cross filament Energy Saving tube bulb. This gives a beautiful light as it shines through the mesh of the lamp body..

This is not just beautiful light but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece for years to come!
 
The lamp has been PAT tested and is fully earthed for electrical safety.
