We start off with a vintage style mannequin hand. These are finished with Danish oil to bring out the grain. They are then fitted to a steel base to allow wall mounting. The light fitting we use is a high quality antique style fitting which has been wired with a 65cm period style braided cable and a 1.5m lead with inline switch and 3 pin plug. This allows you to position the fitting however you want. You can hang it from the fingers or place it in the hand The light fitting can be removed for cleaning. This is designed to be able to be pluged into a wall socket. Please see our other listings if you would like to be able to plug replace an existing wall lamp.
