This incredible desk / table lamp is not only a fully functional lamp but also a stunning piece of art. It's a one off handmade unique piece

The starting point for this conversion was a nice old vintage style fan. It was silver when we found it and that didnt suit the vintage style I was going for so it was stripped completely, sandblasted to remove the chrome and then powder coated in satin black.

To convert the fan to a lamp we removed the motor and machined a custom mount to hold the light fittings. We made a 3 bulb fitting from a reclaimed tilly lamp brass burner and it fits the aesthetic that I was going for perfectly. We also replaced all of the tired looking screws with brass to contract nicely with the satin black

The lamp was then professionally wired with period style braided cable. We were able to use the fan's original speed selector as an on and off switch.  The lamp has a generous 1.5mtr power cable with a plug fitted.

The lamp comes with a 3 x 40w Edison Radio Valve  bulbs which gives a beautiful light.

What is also cool about this light is you can alter the angle of the fan up and own.

When lit the light looks stunning as it casts the most amazing shadows. The photos really don't do it any justice at all.

This is not just beautiful light but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece for years to come!
